Your cost includes tuition (paid to us) and room and board (paid directly to Mar de Jade). Please know that some of your monies will go directly to one of the medical and educational community projects run in the village by Laura de Valle, a local physician who has been deeply involved in community service for over twenty years, who is also the founder of the center (and a Zen student). ROOM & BOARD: This is a separate fee paid directly to the retreat center, and not included in the tuition. Please arrange your room directly with Mar de Jade as soon as possible to ensure the best room available.
COST varies upon your room selection and includes all meals, non-alcoholic drinks & snacks; optional yoga and meditation classes; use of spa hot tubs & swimming pool; and use of boogie boards, beach chairs, etc. . . . mmm . . . Massage and other spa treatments are available at an extra fee, along with horseback riding, whale watching and other exotic excursions.
THE FOOD is delicious and healthy: seafood, chicken and vegetarian entrees with lots of fresh veggies and salads. Three daily meals plus snacks in between are included in your fee.

TRAVEL: Fly into Puerto Vallarta with a valid passport. Best to land by Saturday 4 o'clock at the latest. Mar de Jade will arrange a van shuttle for you if you like. The cost depends on how many people travel together. They are very good at coordinating this to keep the per person fee low. It takes under two hours to get from the airport to the jade green sea.
WORKSHOP HOURS: We begin Saturday evening with dinner at 6:00 and session around 7:30 PM, and end on Friday night. The last Saturday is travel day (breakfast & lunch are included). Please note you will need to leave Mar de Jade about 5 hours before your scheduled departure time (time zone change plus international flight regulations) so do not pick the earliest flight out if you can avoid it.

THE SMALL PRINT:
Your tuition payment is refundable less a $25 admin fee before January 15, 2012 and less a $125 fee after that date.
Mar de Jade will retain 10% of the room deposit if canceled more than 2 months prior to the retreat, and 25% if canceled within 2 months. You may choose to reschedule your reservation with them for a later date with no penalty instead of canceling.
