Part One, Fall 2011: October 27–December 22

Part Two, Winter 2012: January 5–February 23

This eight week committed group is an immersion into the landscapes of Soul Motion. Rather than just a dance event, it is an inquiry into aliveness following a wide range of scores. Explorations in this series will include movement with and without music, with and without instruction, with and without partners, with and without witness(es), as well as other interactions among each other with and without words. The material we will work with is designed to challenge and perhaps change you (and me, for sure). It will involve taking risks and surrendering preferences.
You will be asked to sustain attention and interest while on your growing edge, open to partner interactions of all sorts (within the Soul Motion paradigm) and be willing not only to be seen but to see others with the eyes of the heart.
Prior experience with Soul Motion is essential. Email us with any questions or if you would like to be part of this group, and we will take it from there.
Admission is by application only and previous Soul Motion experience is required with no exceptions, please!
Deadline for completing applications:
September 22, 2011 for Fall Series
December 1, 2011 for Winter series

The fee for each series is $250.
Upon acceptance, please pay by October 6, 2011 for the Fall series
and by December 15, 2011 for the Winter series.
The small print:
Space in these programs is open to 28 committed students. Many more apply than can be included. Attendance at all sessions is essential. Please look at your calendar carefully before applying. If you already know you have scheduling conflicts, please wait for another opportunity when you are able to joyfully commit to all eight sessions.
Please respect this request. If you are the kind of person who prefers to go with the flow and decide day by day what you're going to do with your time and energy, continue to join us at the drop-in classes.
I will not hold your spot without a confirmed payment. After the payment deadline (October 6 for Fall series; December 15 for winter series) all unconfirmed spots will be released.
Cancellation fee of $25 will be held from refunds requested before payment deadlines. There will be no refunds for cancellations if you decide to withdraw from the program for whatever reason after October 6 (Fall) and December 15 (Winter). Thank you so much for your understanding.
